The National Vice Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Michael Nuwagira Kaguta, has called on members to strengthen unity and focus on grassroots mobilization following a reconciliation meeting held at the PLU headquarters for Greater Kampala.
Addressing PLU members during the meeting, Toyota urged mobilizers to organize meetings in their respective districts under the guidance of district coordinators, emphasizing the need for practical action at the grassroots level to strengthen the organization.

He also pledged that PLU members would be considered for various deployments, adding that organized groups within the formation would have the opportunity to benefit from the MK Fund.
Toyota further revealed plans to arrange an appointment with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni so that members of the organization can have an opportunity to meet and interact with the Head of State.
During the meeting, members were encouraged to return to their communities and build strong grassroots structures for PLU. He also urged members to stop attacking one another and instead respect the leadership within the organization.

On the issue of the 1.5 billion shillings that some members have raised concerns about, Toyota called for discipline while seeking accountability, noting that the amount is only a small fraction compared to what he has personally invested in building the formation.
He also appealed to the PLU media fraternity to stop fueling internal conflicts on social media and instead use their platforms to guide, unite, and support fellow members.
Toyota further urged members to focus their energy on promoting PLU as a civic organization rather than promoting individuals.
He concluded by thanking PLU members for their love for the country and their continued commitment to the activities and vision of the Patriotic League of Uganda.
