Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anitah Annet Among, who also serves as the NRM Second National Vice Chairperson (Female), has hit the campaign trail in Busoga sub-region, mobilizing support ahead of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s planned visit in November.
During her engagements with party leaders, opinion leaders, and residents, Speaker Among emphasized the need for unity, discipline, and loyalty within the NRM ranks. She urged local structures to consolidate the party’s grassroots strength and ensure a warm reception for the President.
Among commended Busoga leaders for their commitment to government development programs and encouraged continued participation in initiatives such as the Parish Development Model and Emyooga.
Her tour is part of a broader NRM mobilization effort aimed at strengthening party support and preparing communities for President Museveni’s upcoming regional engagements.
