The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has appointed Brigadier General Jackson Pande Kajuba as the new Commander of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) Armoured Division based in Masaka.
Brig Gen Kajuba replaces Brigadier General Deus Sande, who passed away after suffering severe breathing complications.
In the same reshuffle, Colonel Wilson Bagonza Rwakanara of the Special Forces Command (SFC) has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and appointed Deputy Commander of the Armoured Division.
The appointments are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership and operational effectiveness within the UPDF.
